Graham - Funeral Services for Mr. Marion William "Dub" Pierce, Jr., 85, of Ratliff City are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday May, 12, 2016 at the Graham Assembly of God Church with Rev. JR Townley officiating. Interment will follow at the Graham Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Dub was born Nov. 20, 1930 at Graham to the late Mr. Marion William Pierce, SR. and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Lowery) Pierce. He departed this life Monday, May 9, 2016 at Ardmore.

Dub was raised around Graham attending most of his school at Fox. He joined both the U.S. Army and Air force serving honorably before beginning a career in the oilfield. Dub worked in the Oilfield for Skelly and later with Texaco, retiring from them in 1992. He worked some afterwards a part time pumper for Noble Energy at Wildcat Jim.

He and the former Ms. Wanda Dugger had been united in marriage for almost 25 years residing in Ratliff City. Dub always enjoyed planning family get together s and loved fishing, camping and gardening. He was a member of the Graham Assembly of God Church.

Preceding him in death were his Parents; and 3 sisters, Stella Jetton, Lula Parks and Fae Preble.

Survivors include his wife Wanda of the home; son, Bobby Gus Wooten of Duncan; daughters, Shirley Copeland and husband James and Brenda Van Cleave, both of Wilson; sister, Betty Emberling of Healdton; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews;

Pallbearers will be Mike Emberling, Billy Pierce, Ricky Brown, David Ponder, John Griffin and Dub Campbell.

Honorary Bearers will be Great Nephews.

Family visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Wed. evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
