Manuel Kishketon

Memorial services for Rev. Manuel Kishketon, 59 of Cromwell scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday Jan. 16, 2021 at First Baptist Church Cromwell with Rev. Jimmy May officiating.

Rev. Kishketon was born February 18, 1961 in Oklahoma City. He was the oldest of twelve kids born to his mother the former Mary (Soliz) Orquiz. He left this earth from Norman, Oklahoma January 09, 2021 after an extended illness with COVID-19 to meet his LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Manuel attended schools in Oklahoma City. Manuel was the proud father of 7 Children. Mandy Black of OKC, Kacie Schmitz and her husband Matt of Jefferson City, Mo., Jessica Cronley and her husband Chris of Lone Grove, Jasmine Parker and her husband Kenny of Seminole, Dakota Kishketon, Eric Copeland of Ardmore, Manuel Louie Kishketon Jr and his wife Shila of Cromwell. He was also the proud grandfather of 16 grandkids. He deeply loved his whole family, and nothing brought him more pleasure then spending time with them. Manuel has been a Pastor for the past 30 years. He was pastor of Baptist Churches across the state of Oklahoma, Greenhill of Talihina, Ardmore Indian, Many Nations of Ardmore, Cheek in Lone Grove and for the past thirteen years First Baptist Church of Cromwell where he deeply loved his congregation. Manuel had a great love for contemporary Christian Music. He loved to play his guitar and enjoyed starting and playing in bands in most every church he served in. He taught many young people to play the guitar. He also encouraged many to sing and gave them opportunities to do so in worship services. Manuel took many kids to concerts and Christian music events all over the state. He had a great and special love for reaching the youth in his Churches. Bro. Manuel most always ran a van ministry and brought hundreds of young people to church. He was a dynamic preacher and was called on to lead many revivals and special events. He wrote a weekly article for the Seminole Producer Newspaper. If you knew Bro. Manuel you knew his greatest love was preaching and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was responsible for leading many to Christ and equally baptizing them. Manuel was an avid motorcycle rider and loved to ride his Harley with his FAITHRIDER brothers and sisters. Even his love for motorcycle’s was centered around reaching and furthering the ministry of Jesus Christ. Rev. Kishketon will be remembered by all as one who Loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his mind soul and strength. Trying his very best to share the LOVE of Jesus Christ with others.

Rev. Kishketon was proceeded in death by his grandparents, father and a brother Kenneth Ray Kishketon

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary and Miguel Orquiz OKC, Children: Mandy Black, Kaci and her husband Matt Schmitz, Jessica and her husband Chris Cronley, Jasmine and her husband Kenny Parker, Dakota Kishketon, Eric Copeland, Manuel Louie Kishketon Jr and his wife Shila. 16 Grandkids. 10 brothers and sisters.
