Lyndell 'Troy' Moss

Hennepin - Graveside Inurnment Services for Mr. Lyndell "Troy" Moss, 63 of Oklahoma City are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Hennepin Cemetery with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating.  Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City. 

Troy was born on August 12, 1960 in Pauls Valley, OK to Mr. Troy "Dewayne" Moss and Mrs. Johnny Glen "Sue" (Nelson) Cooper.  He departed from this life on Thursday, August 8, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK.  

Troy was known as "Tonto" a name gifted to him by his grandmother or as he referred to as "Grunt".  Troy graduated from Fox High School and started working in the oilfield as a diesel mechanic.  Over the years, he worked as a carpenter, specializing in rebuilding and restoring historical home windows in Oklahoma City.  Troy moved to Oklahoma City 30 years ago and lived with his life companion, Phillip Stevens.  He enjoyed going to car shows and working on his classic car collection and collecting antiques.  Troy was a perfectionist at anything he did throughout his lifetime, was a very talented and skilled man, that is loved by all his family and friends and will always be greatly missed. 

Troy is preceded in death by his father, Dewayne Moss and survived by his mother, Sue Cooper of Duncan; son, Troy Chase Moss of Ardmore; daughter, Kara Moss of Austin, TX; 2 wonderful grandchildren; 2 brothers, John Ward of Healdton, and Randy Moss of Velma; and by a host of other family and friends.
