Lyle Harrison Tanner

Lone Grove – No Services are scheduled for Mr. Lyle Harrison Tanner , 62, of Lone Grove. He was born July 2, 1948 to the late Mr. Lyle Harrison Tanner and Mrs. Iren Eulene (Clements) Tanner and died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Lone Grove.

Harrison was raised in Lone Grove and graduated high school from there. He attended college for a few years and studied geology. He was employed most of his working years as a welder and also well known for his ability to construct handmade knifes. Harrison enjoyed collecting meteorites and loved listening to music, especially the Beatles. He also enjoyed being outside, hunting and was baptized of Methodist Faith.

Preceding him in death are his Parents, and brothers, Franklin Tanner and Terry Joe “ToJo” Tanner.

Survivors include his Closest friend, Mr. Joe Bob Bennett of the home, Sister in Law, Lana Adams of Lone Grove, nieces, Christa “Cicero Kid” Jackson and husband John of Ardmore, Misty “Blue” Hodges, also of Ardmore, and Hali “Wali” Tanner of Lone Grove. 2 Great nephews, and 1 great niece and numerous other family and friends.
