Lucille Wooldridge

Ratliff City – Funeral Services for Mrs. Lucille Wooldridge, 90, of Ratliff City are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Ratliff City First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston and Rev. Ricky Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Leon Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Lucille was born December 31, 1921 at Rubottom to the late Mr. Ernest Charlie Davenport and Mrs. Una (Walker) Davenport. She departed this life Friday October 26, 2012 at Wilson.

Lucille was raised at Rubottom and attended school at Courtney. She married Mr. Robert Stanton Wooldridge, JR. on July 4 1939 at Marietta. They made their home in Leon and later Graham before moving to Ratliff City where they owned and operated Wooldridge Grocery from 1949 to 1981 when they retired. Lucille was a member of the Ratliff City First Baptist Church. Her husband Mr. Robert S. Wooldridge, Jr. preceded her in death on April 20, 1993.

Also preceding her in death are her Parents; Sister, Hazel Lowe; and 2 Brothers, Ray and Wesley.

Survivors include Daughters, Kay James and husband Mack of Oklahoma City and Rocille Tow and husband James of Ratliff City; Sister, Reba Nichols and husband Wayne of Palestine, TX; Brother, Dale Davenport and wife Bobbie of Decatur, TX; Sisters in law, Katherine Davenport and Peggy Davenport; 6 Grandchildren; Mack II, Craig, Danna, Dachelle, Jimmy and Janie Sue; 5 Great Grandchildren, Blake, Shannon Kay, Jimmy, Ashley, Paige; 1 Great Great Grandchild Avery; Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Craig James, Mack James II, Blake Pierce, James Tow, Jimmy Tow, Mack James and Jared Kamphaus.
