Loye "Pat" Patrick Norton

Velma - Pat Norton was born in Fort Worth, TX to Mr. Loye Kenton Norton and Mrs. Melba Charlene (Cooksey) Norton on November 5, 1957.  He departed from this life on June 29, 2024 at his home in Velma, OK.

Pat enjoyed his quiet life in the country fishing and hunting.  He enjoyed spending time with his bird dog (Beau) and his cat (Bud).  Pat loved spending time with his family and friends.  He always had a great story to share and was always ready to help.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Charlene Cooksey; sister, Sharlott Driver; nephews, Steven Driver, Clifton and Jacob Norton; and companion, Char Kilcrease. 

Pat is survived by his father, Loye Kenton Norton; Melanie Judd and their three daughters, Mindy and husband Danny Fisher, Kelli and husband Jason Meyer, and Stephanie and husband Phil Hebb; brother, Bobby and wife Pam Norton; nephew, Jad and Sue Driver; brother in law, Tony Driver; and leaves behind 7 grandkids, Alexis, Dylan, Carson, Kylie, Saylor, Olivia, and Bostyn; great grandkids, Preslie, Kimber, and Swade; and by a host of other family and friends.  

A celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.
