Loyd Ratliff Brown

Graveside Services for Mr. Loyd Ratliff Brown, 77, of Graham are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Graham Cemetery with Bill Renfro and John Clinesmith officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Loyd was born March 4, 1936 at Daugherty , Oklahoma to Mr. Jesse James Brown and Mrs. Juanita(Blain) Brown. He passed from this life Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Loyd was raised in Daughtery and Elmore City where he attended school . He later moved to Pruitt City, Clemscott and Graham area. Loyd married the former Bonnell Boles on April 23, 1952 at Wilson, OK. She preceded him in death February 2, 2010 . He worked as a Pulling Unit Operator for mostly Nub Sullivan, Sammy Creel and Eddie Johnson retiring in 1990. Loyd liked to work on cars and enjoyed attending the Wilson Senior Citizen’s and loved to visit. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Healdton.

In addition to his wife, Bonnell (Boles) Brown he is preceded in death by his Parents; Son, Jerry Loyd Brown August 20, 1980 and Brother, Nolan Brown.

Survivors include his Brother, Glen D. Brown and wife Holly of Fox, OK.; Special Friend, Nonie Nipper and her Family; Numerous Nieces, Nephews ,Cousins and Church Family.

Pallbearers are Jack Brown, James Brown, Raymond Doughty, Jamie Griffin, Steve Melton and

Bill Pheasent.

Visitation will be Monday, September 23, 2013 at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson from 6-8 P.M.
