Lonnie Ray Wallace

Orr- Graveside Services for Mr. Lonnie Ray Wallace, Sr., 68, of Ringling are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Orr Cemetery south of Ringling with Rev. Joe Taylor officiating. Also speaking will be Rev. Mike Williams and Rev. Ronnie Carroll. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Lonnie was born October 10, 1945 at Orr, OK to the late Mr. Tommy “Dink” L. Wallace and Mrs. Lizzie Belle (Thompson) Wallace. He departed this life Monday, October 14, 2013 at Ardmore.

Lonnie was raised at Orr attending school there and at Ringling. He initially was married to the former Barbara Caldwell and to this union came two children, Alan and Shawna. Later he married the former Janet Coberly and to this union came another son Johnny. He and the former Loretta Dvoracek were united in marriage on October 17, 1997 at Ft. Smith, AR.

Lonnie worked in the Oilfields most of his working years and enjoyed his tractors and gardening. He also loved to ride his motorcycle and spend time with his Coffee Shop buddies. Lonnie was currently attending the Church on the Rock of Ringling.

Preceding him in death is his Parents; Sister, Ruth Dewbre and a Grandson Justin Duncan.

Survivors include his wife Loretta of the home; Daughter, Shawna Duncan and husband Ralph of Ringling; Sons, Lonnie Ray “Alan” Wallace, Jr. and wife Mary of Ringling, and Johnny Wallace of Pauls Valley; Mother in law Hanna Friske of Minnesota; Stepdaughter Laura Stoker and husband Joe of Ringling; Grandchildren, Brandy Wallace, Derek Wallace, Jared Duncan, Andrew Stoker and Angel Stoker; Other family, Barbara and Boyd Melton, Danny and Linda Rapier and Audie Roberts.

Pallbearers are Doug White, Terry Morris, Tommy Bryant, Dennis Hawkins, Audie Roberts and Danny Rapier.

Honorary Bearers are Billy Self, Donnie Hawkins, Mike Black, Randy Wade, Jimmy Jo Morris and all the Coffee Shop Crew.

Family visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
