Loeta Earline Patterson

Wilson – A celebration of life for Mrs. Loeta Earlene Walker Patterson, 65, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Bethel Assembly of God in Ardmore with Rev. Dewain Duck and Rev. Tommy Grimes officiating. Her final resting place will be at Cheek Cemetery in Cheek, OK. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson, OK.

Loeta passed from this life Friday, April 30, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for nine years. She was born December 24, 1944 at Cheek, OK to Mr. Alvie Earl and Mrs. Evelyn “Betty” (Milliken) Walker. She was raised in Ft. Worth, TX and graduated from Polytechnic High School. Montrose, Co was home to her for most of her life. A place she loved and cherished. Due to her illness she returned to Wilson to be near her family.

She devoted her entire life to the Lord. Worked tirelessly for the church. Missionette’s was her love and calling. Training young girls to become grounded in Gods word and maturing into Godly women.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jesse Patterson, Mother Evelyn “Betty”(Milliken) Walker, brother Robert “Bob” Walker, Mother and Father-in-law, B.D. and Mildred Patterson, Paternal Grandparents, Charlie and Emmer Walker, Maternal Grandparents, Robert and Celie Milliken.

Loeta is survived by her father, Alvie Walker of Wilson, OK. Daughter-in-law, Kristina Patterson and granddaughters Rayanne and Rylee of Grand Junction, CO. Sisters, Betty Jane DeFoor of Wilson, OK. Marquetta Trammell of Ft. Worth, TX. Kathy and husband Roger Braziel of Sherman, TX and Rhonda Herron of Healdton, OK. Brother Ronnie Walker and wife Ellen of Wilson, OK. 14 Nieces and Nephews, 20 Great Nieces and Nephews, and 1 great great Niece.

Pallbearers are Michael Trammell, Kevin Walker, Robert Herron, Jerry Braziel, Kyle DeFoor, Frank Lackey, Larry Conway and Charlie Conway.

Honorary Pallbearers will be John DeFoor, Jody Walker, Marvin Conway, Willie Conway, and Larry Wagnor, Jr.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Missionette Ministries of Bethel Assembly of God Church/ P.O. Box 126 Ardmore, OK 73402 in her honor.

Family visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Thursday May 6, 2010 at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson
