Linda Kay Stewart

Milo - Services for Mrs. Linda Kay (Pierce) Stewart, 74 of Milo are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Milo Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow Woodford Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Linda was born July 18, 1946 at Woodford, to the late Mr. Voyd Allen Pierce and Mrs. Jimmie Anita (Prater) Pierce. She departed from this life on Sunday, February 28, 2021 in Ardmore, OK.

Linda was raised at Graham where she attended school. She married Mr. Carl C. Stewart on December 23, 1967 at Wilson. They primarily made their home in Milo. Linda liked to travel and fish. She loved helping Robert and Jenette Stewart work pecans. She loved coloring, having stacks of coloring books and loved being with her family. Linda was a member of the Woodford VFD.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Voyd Pierce and Anita Davoult; grandparents, William and Myrtle Pierce and her maternal grandparents.

Linda is survived by her husband, Carl of the home; daughter, Kerri Stewart of Milo; son, Ricky Stewart and wife Paula of Fox; sisters, Altena Thomas and husband Bill of Pink, Beverly McClennahan and husband Finis of Arkansas, Jimmie Smart, Holly Brown and husband Glen both of Fox; grandchildren, Jeremy Stewart, Jordan Hickman, Jessica Stewart and Jace McCauley; great grandson, Kane Hickman and by a host of other family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jace McCauley, Jeremy Stewart, Dyllon Hickman, Jay Christian, Kevin Cox, and Ray Smart.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Woodford VFD.
