Linda Kay Hunt

Healdton - Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Kay (Eades) Hunt, 76 are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 18, 2022 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton with Rev. Susan Whitley officiating and her grandson Matt Simon assisting. Interment will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore.

Linda was born January 12, 1946 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. James McClure Eades and Mrs. Hazel Louise (Hughey) Eades. She departed from this life on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in Purcell, OK.

Linda was raised in Ardmore attending school in Dickson. She met and married the late Mr. Carl Hunt and they were blessed with 4 children. Linda had worked in management most of her life for local hotels, restaurants and oilfield companies. She loved the casinos, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and she enjoyed going to church where she was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Purcell. Linda also enjoyed going to the local functions and playing bingo with her residents in her apartment community. She was a person who simply enjoyed life.

Preceding her in death was her parents; former spouse, Carl; and her 2 sons, Kevin and Jamie Hunt.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Mindy Simon and husband Danny of Lexington and Melissa Hunt of Ardmore; brother, Rodney Eades of Tulsa; 5 grandchildren, Tony Bascus and wife Kristie, Eric Bascus and wife Tina, Afton Hunt and Randy, Matt Simon and wife Katy, and Seth Gothard and wife Kira; 5 great grandchildren; a nephew, Ryan Eades; a canine baby, Lily; daughter in laws Janet Hunt of Dickson and Diana Hunt of Lone Grove; and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tony Bascus, Eric Bascus, Matt Simon, Seth Gothard, Ryan Eades, Donn Spellman, and Danny Simon.

Visitation will be held Monday afternoon from 12:00-1:30 before the service.
