Letha Mae (Abshire) Tupin

Ringling- Services for Letha Mae (Abshire) Tupin are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with Ellen Abshire and Doug Hickman officiating.

Letha Mae (Abshire) Tupin, of Healdton, Ok, known to many as Memaw, departed her journey here on Earth at the age of 74 years young, on October 2nd in Oklahoma City, Ok surrounded by her family.

Letha was born in Orr, Oklahoma to the late Seaton Anderson and Rosie Abshire on the 4th day of November 1949. She was the most loving and caring woman who enjoyed taking care of her family. She had 1 son by the late Truman Dewayne Branch and 3 children by Calvin Martin. Her and Calvin have remained very close throughout the years.

Letha had many passions in life. The main ones are taking care of her family, gardening, cooking, and loving her cat, Kammi and her dog, Athena. She loved to cook as she had done many years of her life to be able to serve people who needed a hot meal. She worked all her life until retiring in 2003. She dedicated herself as a mother, memaw, aunt and more to everyone which brought her the most happiness in her life.

She is proceeded in death by, Truman Dewayne Branch, parents Seaton Anderson and Rosie Abshire, as well as 14 brothers and sisters, and her beloved animals, Roscoe and Lil’ man Tupin.

She is survived by 5 of her siblings, Syble Lyle, Virginia Johnson, Ike Joe Abshire (Brenda), Joy Gonzales, and Diane Jackson (Wayne), her children, Timothy Branch Sr (Janet), Brandi Black, Casey Martin (Misty), Kandi Martin (Dustin), Devan Smith (Katie), Ethan Smith, her grandchildren, Tabitha Harris, Robin Branch, Stefanie Coleman (Junior), Timothy Branch Jr (Chasity), T.J. Branch (Ashley), Latoy Branch, LeAnna Martin (Rusty), Brianna (Drake & Hunter), Shantay Devlin (Mia), Asher Devlin, Lizzy Devlin, and Neveah Lott. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a special niece, Toy Marie Davila, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews and additional family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Branch Jr, T.J. Branch, Devan Smith, Ethan Smith, Casey Martin, and Dustin Gagnon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Branch Sr, Darren “Whiskey Man” Griffith, Junior Coleman, Daniel “Boone” Skeen, Cal Shankles, Mason Coronado, Branden Miller, Bo Mitchell, and Wesley Mitchell.
