Leo Chester Lambert

Healdton - Graveside services for Mr. Leo Chester Lambert, 84, of Ringling are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday March 11, 2021 at Mount Olive Cemetery at Healdton. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Leo was born Jan. 5, 1937 in Wirt to the late Mr. William Elmer Lambert and Mrs. Thelma Theo (Woodruff) Lambert. He departed this life Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Oklahoma City.

Leo was raised at Wirt attending school at Dundee. He graduated from Dundee High school in 1955 and soon after married the former Lola Wolfe on August 4, 1956 at Ardmore. They made their home initially in Healdton, moving north of Ringling a few years later where they have made their home and remained.
Leo worked in the oilfield for the same company for 41 years. At work he was known as "kid", being the youngest employed when he was hired. He retired from Total as a pipeline inspector and enjoyed attending bluegrass festivals and ranching. Leo was also a fan of football loving to watch the Dallas Cowboys.

Preceding him were parents, siblings, Lula Mae Roberts, Don Lambert, Lloyd Lambert and Sam Lambert; grandson in law Don Kendrick.

Survivors include his loving wife Lola of the home; daughter, Faye Lambert of Ringling; sons, Hank Lambert and wife Karen of Ringling and Will Lambert and wife Lesa of Ardmore; sister in law, Mary Lambert of Wilson; grandchildren, Amye Kendrick, Sarah Way and husband Joey, Megan Price and husband Kevin, Holden Lambert and wife Bobbi, Hannah Lambert and Tara Marutzky; great grandchildren, Jaxon July Hammons, Stratton Ridge Price, Sutton Deann Lambert, Riggs West Price, Caige Avery Calvert and Camille Addison Calvert; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers are Jaxon Hammons, Joey Way, Kevin Price, Dusty Sparks, Caige Calvert, Holden Lambert and Chris Sparks.

Family visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.
