Lella Drue Patrick

Ringling - Funeral Services for Mrs. Lella Drue (Wade) Patrick, 86, of Ringling is scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ Gospel Tabernacle with Pastor Jimmy Morris officiating and Bro. Lafon Glenn assisting. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Drue was born Jan. 21, 1930 at Ringling to the late Mr. Charles Chesley Wade and Mrs. Ara Alice (Hawkins) Wade. She departed this life Thursday, April 28, 2016 at her home in Ringling.

Drue was raised at Centerpoint walking to school there. She married Mr. Donald Allen Patrick on January 11, 1947 at Petrolia, TX. They resided primarily at Ringling and were blessed with three daughters, Patricia, Donna and Elizabeth. Drue was a devout homemaker, mother and grandmother, who loved providing for all of her family. She enjoyed cooking large meals for them frequently and loved having them at her home.

Drue was very talented, being able to play music and sing.She also loved advancing with technology, enjoying computers and having a computerized sewing machine. She loved and cherished her family at the Gospel Tabernacle of Ringling.

Preceding her in death was her, parents; a daughter, Elizabeth Wilson; sisters, Beatrice Wade, Beulah Hammons, Thelma Pemberton and Alpha Morris; brothers, Ozeal Wade, Chesley Wade, Melvin Wade, Otto Wade, L.V. Wade and Orb Wade; grandson, Joe Dale Stewart; sons in law, Harley Stewart and Mike Skinner.

Survivors include her loving husband Mr. Don Patrick of the home; 2 daughters, Patricia Stewart and Donna Skinner, both of Ringling; son in law, Cokey Wilson of Ringling; twin sister, Ella Morris and sister, Ollie Patrick and husband JR, all of Ringling; brother, Jake Wade and wife Toppy of Ringling; grandchildren, Patrick and wife Cindy, Doni and husband Jon, Scott and wife Summer, Kyle and wife Janea, Bo'don and wife Kimmie, Jonathan, Kevin and wife Patty, Logan, Rhyan, Flint, Rance and Tonya; 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and other family, church family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Scott Skinner, Kyle Skinner, Patrick Stewart, Jon Tolliver, Bo'don Wilson and Jonathan Wilson.

Honorary bearers are the Men of the Gospel Tabernacle.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to Cross Timbers Hospice 207 C St. NW, Ardmore, OK 73401 for their kindfelt care and support of Drue during her illness.

Family visitation will be held from 4 to 6 PM Sunday May 1, 2016 at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
