Lavenia Eileen Beard

Wilson - Graveside Services for Lavenia "Nonnie" Eileen Beard, 68 of Ardmore are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 26, 2024 at Hewitt Cemetery.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson. 

Eileen was born November 17, 1955 in Little Rock, AR to the late Mr. Kenneth Roy Moore and Mrs. Lavenia Bell Bull.  She departed from this life on Monday, April 22, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK.  

Eileen was raised most of her life in the Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma areas where she also attended school, graduating from Texas.   She had worked in the food/catering industry most of her life which she loved cooking.  Eileen enjoyed her family, grandchildren, gardening, her chickens and just simply just helping others.  But most of all, she was a firm believer and truly loved Jesus. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Johnny Whatley and Ronald Beard; grandson, Nikkolas Mangum; and a half-brother, Timothy Moore.

Eileen is survived by her children, Rozanne Bright of Ardmore; Lori Kale of Ardmore, and John Whatley of Alaska; siblings, Sherry Ragsdale and husband Rickey of Arkansas, Raylynn Craig of Coalgate; Kimberly Moore of Arkansas, and Monakye Royce of Arkansas; grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Ariel, Dylan, Jakob, Jonathon, Justin, Cassy, Bodie, Sarah, Samantha, and Piper; great grandchildren, Jaden, Noah, Harper, Ryan, Ryder, and Haylin; canine baby, Duke; and by a host of other family and friends. 

Honorary bearers will be Will Velevil, Roe Gardner, Brad Whatley, Amanda Justice, and Brandon Justice.
