Larry was born March 19, 1952 in Duncan, OK to Mr. James Whaley and Mrs. Mildred "Millie" (Cobble) Tomasheski. He departed from this life on Monday, October 3, 2022 in Oklahoma City. Larry was raised in Velma attending school there. He enlisted in the United States Army for a short while before he started driving a truck. He had drove a truck most of his life most recently for Kleen Oil Field Service. Larry married the former Trisha Grant on September 22, 1992 in El Paso, TX. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and mowing the grass. He loved the outdoors and his canine buddy, Bandit.
Preceding him in death was his father, James; sister, Jimmie Gail Sitton; and two step sons, Robert Bench and Tommie Thompson.
Larry is survived by his wife, Trisha of the home; daughters, Tamra "Shelly" Brown and husband Eddie of Ada and Heather King of Oklahoma City; a sister, Patricia Marchettie and husband John of Florida; his mother, Mildred “Millie” Tomasheski of Velma; 7 grandchildren, Cody Bench, Eddie III, Derrick, Lorena, Cameron, Taylee, and Keaton Brown; 4 great grandchildren, Daeton, Bowen, Michelle and Orlando; and by a host of other family and friends.
