Larry Don White

Lone Grove - Funeral Services for Mr. Larry Don White, 64, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wed. February 24, 2016 at the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church of Lone Grove with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at the Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Larry was born June 9, 1951 at Bowie, TX to the late Mr. Louie Thomas White and Mrs. J. Gwendolyn (Ford) White. He departed this life Sunday morning, February 21, 2016 at his home in Lone Grove.

Larry was raised at Bowie, TX attending school there. He married the former Ms. Carolyn Rhoades on June 13, 1970 at Bowie. Larry worked in the Oilfield for many years, mostly for Koch and TEPPCO Crude . His oilfield employment brought him to this area in 1992.

Larry and his son Kyle purchased Big River Sales on north Newport in Lone Grove in 2004. Since, Larry has enjoyed working side by side with his son. Larry always enjoyed his family above anything else. He enjoyed taking many camping trips and spending time with them on his farm. Larry was a great husband, father and all around great family man.

Preceding him in death was his Parents, Louie and Gwendolyn White.

Survivors include his loving wife Carolyn of the home; children, Kevin White and wife Pearl of Sapulpa, Kyle White and wife Bobby Jo and Kelli Farve and husband Kevin, all of Lone Grove; grandchildren, Justin and Gracie White, Kason and Madilen White and Brayli, Leelyn, Jonah and Caleb Farve; sisters in law, Linda VanVacter and Mary Rhoades of Bowie, TX; brothers in law, Eddie Rhoades, Ken Rhoades and wife Dian, all of Bowie, TX and Dale Rhoades and wife Glenda of Paige, TX; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and other family.

Casket Bearers are Lee VanVacter, Lenard Mayo, Michael Rhoades, Eddie Rhoades, Ken Rhoades, Justin White and Kason White.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
