Ladonna Jean Goates

Lone Grove - Memorial Services for Mrs. LaDonna Jean (Weatherford) Goates, 57 of Marietta, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Lone Grove First Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Barron officiating.

Donna was born March 27, 1963 in Ardmore, OK to L.D. "Red" Weatherford and Mrs. Jean Virginia Pearl (Sullivan) Boswell. She departed from this life on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Wichita Falls, TX.

Donna grew up in Wilson graduating in 1981. She worked for Dr. Leming as a chiropractor assistant and secretary. Donna married Dale "Kent" Goates and had made their home in Southern Oklahoma raising their 3 sons. She enjoyed going to church, horses and raising baby goats.

Preceding her in death is her father, Red Weatherford.

Donna is survived by her husband, Dale Kent Goates of Lone Grove; sons, Cody Goates of Marietta, Jesse Goates and wife Landen of Marietta, and Joseph Goates of Oklahoma City; brothers, Dusty Weatherford and wife Michelle of Thackerville, Les Weatherford of Tuttle, and Scott Weatherford and wife Tommi of Ardmore; mother, Jean Boswell and husband Joe of Wilson; and by a host of other family and friends.
