Kinnon "Kenny" Ray Chase

Memorial services for Kinnon “Kinny” Ray Chase, 72, of Healdton, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Milo Baptist Church in Milo, OK, with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Milo Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.

Kinny was born March 2, 1952, at Wilson, OK, to the late Mr. Grove Engleman Chase and Mrs. Verna “Maxine” (Cox) Chase. He departed this life Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at his home in Healdton.

He was raised in the local area and in Hennessey, Oklahoma, where he cultivated a strong foundation that would guide him throughout his life. Upon graduating from high school, Kinny proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. During his service, he excelled as a photographer, capturing moments and memories, and he received an honorable discharge after two years of dedicated service to his country. After returning home, Kinny settled in Woodford, where he began to build his family and career. He spent several years working at Uniroyal. Following his retirement in 2015, Kinny embraced life with passion, enjoying fishing and hunting. He cherished his time spent “on the hill,” and delighted in watching his favorite show, Yellowstone. A true sports enthusiast, he was an avid fan of OU football, showcasing his loyalty and pride for his team. Those who knew Kinny would describe him as "stubborn, but a good one", possessing a unique charm that drew people in. He leaves behind a legacy filled with memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Daniel Chase and Richard Chase; niece, Marisha McCraw.

Survivors include his daughter, Allegra Chase and husband Rickey Butler of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Sunny Hadley, Roxana Massingill, and Colleen Chase; sister, Willie Faye Chase; nephews, Kurtus Smoot, Little Richard Ponder, Steven Chase, and Jay Chase; niece, Rebecca Leath; numerous other family and friends.

 A reception dinner will be held for the family, at noon, prior to the service, in the Milo Church Fellowship Hall.
