Kenneth Ray Miller

Kenneth was born April 10, 1934 at Deese, OK to Claude Miller and Bessie Dee (Balthrop) Miller. He departed this life Friday, December 14, 2012 at his home in Lone Grove.

Kenneth was raised at Deese attending school there. He married the former Ms. Sue Hess on December 8, 1956 at Healdton. Kenneth worked at the Lacey Ranch for several years before becoming employed at the refinery of Ardmore. There he was employed until his retirement in 1996, retiring as a lab tester, performing tests on petroleum products. During his years at Valero he also owned and operated his own landscaping business called “Kenneth Miller Custom Tractor Work” in which he done projects for several homeowners and landowners of this area. He loved his family and enjoyed his red limousine cattle. Kenneth hardly ever missed Saturday morning coffee at Ponders restaurant of Ardmore . He was a member of the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church of Lone Grove.

Preceding him in death are his Parents; Brothers, Jerrell Miller, Gary Don Miller and Jimmy Hugh Miller.

Survivors include his Wife, Sue of the home; Daughters, Kennita Moon, and Rajeana Heath and husband Mike; Son, Kerry Miller and wife Lisa all of Lone Grove; Grandchildren, Angela Jester, Lindsay Price, Matt Harris, Brianna Shorter, Brandi Harris, Katelyn Moon, Kalub Miller and Makayla Heath; Nine Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Claudette Brown of Dickson, Ruby White of Wilson, and Linda Weber of Lone Grove; Numerous Nieces and Nephews and other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Junior Mullins, J.D. Balthrop, Michael Keeton, Larry Joe Miller, Chris White, and Jimmy White.

Honorary Bearers are Nathan Christian, Joey Ross, Joe Boswell, Brad Mullins, John Perdue and Joe Denney.
