Kenneth Doyle Hacker

Wilson - Funeral Services for Kenneth Doyle Hacker, 84, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 at Aleander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Darryl Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery.

Kenneth  passed away on September 18, 2024 at a nursing facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was born on May 11, 1940, in, Oklahoma, to the late George William Jewel Hacker and Lillie Ellen (Stafford) Hacker.

Kenneth grew up primarily in Ghost Hollow, west of Cheek, and attended Lone Grove schools, graduating from Lone Grove High School in 1958. He married Evelyn Jane Holmes on February 20, 1959, at the Fox Pentecostal Holiness Church. Their life together began in Wilson before relocating to California, where Kenneth received carpenter training. Eventually, they returned to Lone Grove, where Kenneth built a successful career in the oilfield, insurance sales, and carpentry, contributing to the construction of many homes in the area.

A man of varied interests, Kenneth had a deep passion for fishing and hunting. His determination to provide for his family was evident throughout his life, and he would always rise to any challenge he encountered.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Jane, who passed away on January 20, 2013; a brother, Billy Bob Hacker; a daughter, Connie Upton; a sister, Vera Mae Williams; a nephew, Rickey Hacker; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Hacker.

He is survived by two sons, Mike Hacker and his wife Stephanie of Ardmore, and Jeff Hacker and his wife Terri of Ardmore; brothers, Gilbert Hacker and his wife Becky of Wilson, and Loran Hacker of Lone Grove; a sister-in-law, Carrie Hacker of Wilson; a brother-in-law, Bobby Williams of Wilson; as well as grandchildren Bobby Horton, Casey Horton, Danielle Hacker, Rachel Hayes and John, Kristy Hacker, Jonathan Hacker, and Sarah Hacker; and ten great-grandchildren. Kenneth is also remembered by numerous other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will include Chris Hacker, Steven Hacker, Adam Hacker, Wesley Hacker, John Hayes, and Robert Moyers, Jr. Honorary bearers are Bobby Williams, Bobby Horton, Casey Horton, Jonathon Hacker, Matt Hacker, Caleb Hacker, and Greg Hacker.

Family visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
