Mr. Kenneth Dale Stepp


Ringling – Funeral Services for Mr. Kenneth Dale Stepp, 45, formerly of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, February 26, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Ringling with Pastor Brendon Lee and Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Dixie Cemetery north of Ringling. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.


Kenneth was born February 27, 1964 to Mr. Jimmie Ray Stepp and Mrs. Betty Jean (Phillips) Stepp. He departed this life Sunday, February 14, 2010 at San Bernardino, CA.


Kenneth was raised in Lone Grove attending school there. He was a talented athlete, excelling in football as a linebacker and in baseball as a pitcher. He was also very involved FFA showing pigs and lambs. He worked mostly in construction as a certified welder and an excellent painter. He was a very good guitarist and also enjoyed singing. As a child he attended the First Baptist Church of Lone Grove.


Preceding him in death is his Mother, Betty Jean Phillips, Grandparents, James Russell and Ollie Marie Stepp and a half brother Kyle Woods.


Survivors include his two sons, Michael Stepp of Bentonville, AR, and Kenneth Dale Stepp, Jr. of San Mateo, CA. Father, Jimmie Stepp and stepmother Faye of Broken Arrow, Stepmother, Arlene Stepp of Ardmore, 2 Brothers, Jimmy Ray Stepp, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Lone Grove, Brian Keith Stepp of Austin, TX. 3 Grandchildren, 1 Niece, Cheyenne Stepp of Lone Grove, and Nephew Joshua Stepp of Lone Grove. Numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.


Casket Bearers are Cliff Martin, Jimmy Donham, Darrell Tice, Danny Tice, Marty Everett and Dennis McClardy.


Honorary Bearers will be Glenn Stepp, Kerry Don Stepp, David Englehardt, Chris Martin, Randy Stepp, Michael Stepp and Kenneth Stepp, Jr.


Family visitation will be from 5 to 6 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home in Ringling.
