Kasandra Elaine Miller

Wilson - Funeral Services for Mrs. KaSandra Elaine Miller, 55 of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Bro. Chuck McElroy officiating and Lori Miller providing the eulogy.  Interment will follow to Newport Cemetery north of Lone Grove.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Mrs. KaSandra Elaine Miller was born July 24, 1965 in Shawnee to Mr. Buck Harold Miller and Mrs. Trudy Elaine (DeBock) Miller. She departed from this life on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Marietta, OK at the age of 55 years, 8 months and 10 days.

KaSandra was raised initially in Grand Prairie, TX moving to Ardmore in 6th grade. She attended Plainview schools graduating from High School in 1983. KaSandra initially began keeping children at her home, which later became known as Nanny's Playskool. Today it is known as Playskool Childcare of Ardmore, which has been operating for over 30 years. KaSandra always had a patient, kind and loving affection for all children. She married Jerrel Miller on February 6, 1999 in Lone Grove. They made their home in the Lone Grove area and attended the Blue Ribbon Baptist Church and more recently attended New Hope Freewill Baptist Church of Lone Grove. She enjoyed sewing, camping, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. KaSandra will be remembered for her love and kindness to others and her care for all the children.

Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Granny Miller, Ones Miller, and Leo and Crystal DeBock.

KaSandra is survived by the love of her life and best friend, Jerrel of the home; daughters, Melanie Conway and Bryan Conway of Lone Grove and Danielle Idleman and husband Justyn of Lone Grove; parents, Buck and Trudy Miller of Lone Grove; parents in law, Jerry Miller and J.R. and Carolyn Morriss of Lone Grove; grandmother,-in-law, Christine Jones; sister, June Miller of Lone Grove; brother, Michael Miller and wife Kerri of Justin, TX; sister-in-law, Jamie Miller and fiancé Dustin Brackeen; three granddaughters, Hunter Conway, Aubrey Conway and Kynsler Idleman; one grandson, Cooper Idleman; special nieces and nephews, Darren Miller and wife Angie, Emily Miller, Zane Miller, Dalton Miller, Makina Brackeen and Wyatt Parsons; great nieces and nephews, Rhett Miller, Corbin Miller, Leyt-Leyt Miller, and Millie Arias; special friend, Debbie Stutsman of Wilson and by a host of other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Bryan Conway, Justyn Idleman, Zane Miller, Dalton Miller, Ricky Crowell, Shane McKinnon.

Honorary bearers will be Cooper Idleman, Darren Miller, Rhett Miller, Corbin Miller, Layton Miller and Rodney Crowell.  

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
