Julia Lee Baker

Wilson - Home going services for Mrs. Julia Lee (Mefford) Baker, 67, of Pinto are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 at the River of Life Church of Wilson with Bro. Jim Duck officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Julia was born on July 28, 1953 at Wilson to the late Mr. Melvin "Pat" Mefford and Mrs. Deloris June (Barton) Mefford. She departed this life Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma City.

Julia was raised in southern Oklahoma attending school at Fox and Healdton, She married Mr. Gary Baker on June 6, 1970 at Wilson at the United Methodist Church. . They were together for 51 years attending church at the River of Life. Julia was very active within the church activities and had served within the food bank ministry faithfully. She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening and going on day to day trips with her husband Gary. They raised their children in Ringling and have been a part of the surrounding communities for years.

Preceding her are her parents.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Gary of the home; daughters, Cristy Bushong and husband Archie of Louisville, KY, Angela Gleffe and husband Jacob of Silverdale, WA, April Jones and husband Josh of Healdton and Monica Baker of the home; brother, Ronald Mefford and wife Tanya of Ringling; grandchildren, Melinda Tuley, Caleb Tuley, Jacob Miller, Anton Jones, Noah Baker and Olivia Baker; numerous other family, church family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Jacob Miller, Anton Jones, Danny Keck, Bill Landreth, Ron Bloomfield and Rev. Raymond Norton.

Honorary bearers are Archie Bushong,Caleb Tuley, Jacob Gleffe and Josh Jones
