Judith Louise Baucom

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Judith “Judy” Louise (Jackson) Baucom is scheduled for 11:00am., Saturday, December 1st, at the First Baptist Church in Ringling, OK – to be officiated by Dr. Ray Davis of Whitehouse, TX and Rev. Glenn Hejny of Ennis, TX. Arrangements are under the care of Alexander Funeral Home and Crematory of Ringling.

Born July 20th, 1942 in Ardmore, OK to L.B. and Alzada (Gilcrease) Jackson, she departed this life on November 10th, 2012 in Tyler, TX.

Judy was raised in Sante Fe, NM and Ringling, OK where she graduated high school in 1960. She was an accomplished artist, devoted wife, mother and grandmother (Nana). She loved to travel and spend her time with family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers – Larry B. and Daniel Green Jackson; sister – Dixie Anita (Jackson) Sullivan.

Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years – Charles Baucom of Brownsboro, TX and Bella Vista, AR; daughters – Dana (Baucom) Langer and husband Phillip of Ennis TX; Dawn Baucom of Lewisville, TX; Shelley (Baucom) Bender and husband Tim of Whitehouse, TX; grandchildren – Chelsea Baucom, T.J. and Reagan Langer, Daniel and Austin Bender; special niece – Jamie Clayton of Lewisville, TX; as well as numerous other nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701-6623 or the ALS Texas Chapter at alsa.org.
