Juanita "Nita" H. Roberts

Mrs. Juanita “Nita” H. (Beck) Roberts, of Healdton, departed this life on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Wilson Nursing Home in Wilson at the age of 91 years, 1 month, and 27 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church in Healdton with Rev. Jimmy May. Interment will follow in the Dixie Cemetery North of Ringling. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.

Nita was born on November 26, 1929 in Chickasha. She was raised by her parents E.L. Beck and Marie (Thomas) Light in Archer City, TX. She met Mr. John “Jake” Roberts and they were united in marriage on May 1, 1948 in Graham, TX. They made their home in Healdton and would raise their three children here. Nita was an excellent homemaker and mother. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, crossword puzzles and playing games on her tablet. She was a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church in Healdton and always enjoyed attending services and church activities.

Nita is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John “Jake” Roberts; granddaughter, Brandi Golden; great granddaughter, Lexie Knopp; brothers, Chester Dugan, Willis Dugan, Ray Maxwell Jr., Harold Carter, Wayne Flick, and Don Flick; sisters, Betty Jones and Alice Payne.

She leaves to cherish her memory son, Bobby Jake Roberts of Healdton; daughters, Barbara Ann Golden and husband Steven of Plain City, OH, Alice Marie Hobbs of Healdton; grandchildren, Bill Hobbs, Bart Hobbs, Angie Lemming, Mandy Craig, Stacy Cavallo, Kim Chancellor, Marcy Golden, Kristy Farris, and Mikki Roberts; 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Rose, Joe Mac Roberts, Antonio Cavallo, Brent Farris, Chris Chancellor, and Paul Fitzgerald.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny “Bim” Roberts, Freddy Roberts, Dink Rose, Jimmy Roberts, numerous other nephews; and Wilson Nursing Home Staff,

Visitation will be held from 4 – 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
