Juanita Marie Roberts

Wilson- Funeral Services for Mrs. Juanita Marie (Clark) Roberts, 83, of Ardmore are scheduled for 3:30 P.M. Thursday September 16, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Wilson with Dr. Robert L. Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery of Wilson. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Juanita was born March 8, 1927 in Wilson to the late Leslie James Clark and Alice Lois (Gibbs) Clark. She departed this life Monday, September 13, 2010 at Ardmore.

Juanita was reared in Wilson attending Wilson schools. She married Mr. G. C. Roberts May 18, 1948 at Gainesville, TX. They shared many wonderful years together residing in Wilson and Ardmore, living in Ardmore the last 30 years. Juanita owned and operated “Roberts Antiques” in Wilson on Main Street for many years and after retiring still loved shopping the local markets for antiques. Juanita and G.C. also loved to travel, taking many trips to see their children. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wilson.

Preceding her in death is her Father, Leslie James Clark August 10, 1966 and Mother, Alice Lois Clark Nov. 10, 2005.

Survivors include her Husband G.C. of the home, Sons, Mark Roberts and wife Peggy of Western Springs, IL, Gary Roberts and wife Kathy of The Woodlands, TX, and Jeff Roberts and wife Dana of Midland, TX. Sister, Anna Cumpton and husband Carl of Wilson. 8 Grandchildren, Brian Roberts and wife Cristen, Sarah and husband Larry Paque, Alex Roberts, Katie Roberts, Rebecca and husband Mitch Levy, Geremy Roberts, Matthew Roberts and Jamie Roberts. 5 Great Grandchildren, Jake Roberts, Riley Roberts, and Nate Roberts, Tanner Paque, and Jeff James Roberts.

Pallbearers will be the Grandchildren.

Honorary Bearers are Boyd Salsbury, Jack Glazner, Jim Cumpton, Larry Cumpton, Jason Cumpton and John Cumpton.
