Joyce Fay Bruce

Ardmore –Funeral Services for Mrs. Joyce Fay (Lambert) Bruce of Ardmore are scheduled for 2:00P.M., Friday, March 12, 2021 at Victory Life Church of Ardmore, with Pastor Jeremy Berryhill. Interment will follow to Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson. Funeral services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Joyce was born on September 19, 1946 to the late Mr. Johnnie Franklin Lambert and Mrs. Juanita Faye (Roberts) Lambert. She departed this life on Monday, March 8, 2021 in Ardmore at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 19 days.

Joyce was raised in Apache and Marietta attending school in Marietta. She worked at the pants and cookie factories in Marietta as the lead line. For the last 20 years, she was self employed cleaning houses, always a hard worker. Joyce enjoyed casinos and spending time with her youngest grandchild, Skilar.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and brothers, Eddie, Sam and Billy.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Teresa Carter of Ardmore; sons, Randall Tipton and wife Melissa of Wilson and Rickey Tipton of Oklahoma City; brother, Ray Lambert and wife Debbie of Addington, OK; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and by a host of other family and friends.

Casket bearers are Randall Tipton, Gary Wilsie(Boo), Justin Wilsie, Kenny Bruce, Landon Bruce and James Freeman.

Honorary bearers are Jeremy Marshall, Jay Marshall and Thomas Carter.

A Family lunch will be held from 12-1 P.M. and a Visitation will be held before the service from 1-2 P.M. Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Victory Life Church in Ardmore.
