Joyce "Danell" Patrick

Ringling- Services for Joyce “Danell” Patrick, 72, of Ringling, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery Pavilion with Lafon Glenn and Mike Faulkner officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.

Danell was born August 24, 1950, at Ardmore to Mr. Daniel “Jr” James Patrick, Jr. and Mrs. Ollie Joyce Patrick. She went to her heavenly home Monday, April 24, 2023, at her home in Ringling.

Danell was raised primarily in Ringling graduating from Zaneis with the class of 1968. The love of her life was Willis Watkins, whom she traveled and lived life with until his passing. Danell worked as a bookkeeper, a home health provider, and lastly as a bus driver. The greatest joy of her life was being Aunt Nell to her nieces and nephews. Danell enjoyed fishing and camping. She was Baptized at the Church of Jesus Christ Gospel Tabernacle.

Preceding her in death are her mother, Ollie (Wade) Patrick; brother, Dan J. Patrick; brother-in-law, Clyde McCoy; special friend, Willis Watkins and Nephew, Derrek Snodgrass.

Survivors include her father, Daniel “Jr” Patrick of the home; sister, Judy McCoy of Ringling; sister-in-law, Fran Worsham and husband Danny of Ringling; Aunt, Ella Morris of Petersburg; nieces and nephews, Casey Miller and husband Greg, Erin Edwards and husband Steven, Corrie Patrick and Shadoe Stoker, Brook Gandy and husband Brock, Courtney Justus and husband Ben, and Allen Patrick; special brother, Mike Faulkner and wife Ernie of Ringling; numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brock Gandy, Ben Justus, Mike Faulkner, Allen Wade, Allen Patrick, and Bobby Tolliver.

Honorary bearers are Steven Edwards, Shadoe Stoker, Greg Miller, Calvin Wade, Michael Stanton, Richard Wade, Danny Stanton, Danny Worsham, Jimmy Morris and all of her great nieces and great nephews.

Family visitation will be held from 6P.M. to 8P.M. Thursday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling.
