Ringling - Mrs. Joni Lee (Anderson) Phelan, 59, of Ringling departed this life on Friday December 25, 2015 at her home in Ringling. No services are to be scheduled.

Joni was born on February 18, 1956 to Glen Everet Anderson and Doris Irene (Canum) in Moline, IL. She was raised in Rowland Heights, CA graduating from high school there. She remained in California having 4 children living in the greater Los Angeles area. In 1993 she moved to Washington residing there for 5 years. Afterwards, she resided in Montana were she married Robert Phelan on February 1, 2000 at Helena, MT. In 2005 they made their home in Ringling. She always enjoyed driving a truck, going shopping, and had a passion for animals. Joni was a member of the Crystal Rock Cathedral of Ardmore.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Phelan of Ringling; parents Glen Anderson and Doris Irene; Brother, John Douglas Anderson; sister, Jeri Lyn Anderson; daughters, Shawna Marie Sanders and Christina Lee Steinbacher; sons, Lucas Steven and Steven Rudolph Sanders; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
