Wilson – Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny Ray McMillen, 58, formerly of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 t the First Baptist Church of Wilson with Rev. Mark Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery of Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Johnny was born on August 16, 1960 at Spearman, TX to Billy Ray McMillen and Rosie Bazan. He departed this life Monday, October 8, 2018 at his home in Wetumka.

Johnny was raised primarily in Wilson graduating from Wilson High School in 1978. During his high school years he excelled in all sports, especially boxing having Skinny Stewart as his coach. Johnny worked in the Oilfield for many years and also operated Heavy Equipment for Brown and Root. He worked in maintenance with his bonus father, Jerry at the Vencore Hospital in Oklahoma City before starting his own construction business based out of Wetumka.

Johnny enjoyed all of his children’s sporting activities and was always their biggest fan. He loved watching college football and breaking horses. His most treasured times was those with his kids and grandkids. Johnny was a past member of the First Baptist Church of Wilson and was a current member of the Wetumka First Baptist Church.

Those preceding him in death were his bonus mother, Linda ; brothers, Jackie Wayne Hill and Paul Gene McMillen; special cousin, Cindy McMillen; best friend, Keith Adams; special grandfather, Albert McMillen and a nephew, Vance McKnight.

Survivors include his daughters, Nikki Lux and husband Brandon, Tiffany McMillen, Jamie McMillen and fiancé Jose’, all of Oklahoma City and Taylor McMillen of the home; son, Johnny Ray McMillen, II of Guthrie; mother and bonus father, Rose and Jerry Bratcher of Kingfisher; father, Billy Ray McMillen of Wilson; sisters, Denice Gray and husband Bryan of Piedmont, Debbie White and husband Leroy of Norman, Neta Hill of Ardmore, Janna Boyd and husband Chris of Justin, TX, Pam Carter and husband David of Wilson; brothers, Eddy Don Hill and wife Nicki of Velma, Billy “Bo” McMillen and wife April of Wilson, David McMillen and wife Kelli of Fox, Frankie McMillen and wife Sheree of Watonga, Timmy McMillen and wife Tamara of Yukon and Terry Bratcher and fiancé Dari of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Gracie, Addie –Bug, Isayah, Lily and Mia; special family, cousins, Sammy McMillen, Buddy Abshire and Peggy; special nieces and nephews, Hunter, Jaden and Steele.

Casket Bearers are Sammy McMillen, Adam McMillen, Alex Winship, Buddy Abshire, John Juan Sun Bazan, Chance McMillen and Steve McMillen.

Honorary Bearers are Spencer Gray, Riley Gray, Dale Sweezy and Tim Barnes.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
