John "Johnny" Duane Kester

Stobtown - Cremation arrangements for Mr. John "Johnny" Duane Kester, 57, of Lone Grove are entrusted to Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson. He passed from this life on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma City. Family Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. David Gardener officiating.

Johnny was born on August 30, 1963 at Boone, Iowa to Mr. Charles "Butch" Kester and Mrs. Silvia Ann (Beadle) Donham. He was raised in Lone Grove where he attended school and worked within the Welding industry most of his working years. Johnny was most well known for being employed at Punneo's of Lone Grove. He loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the Stobtown Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his father, Charles and his step dad, Jim Donham and a son Keith Ray Kester.

Survivors include his sons, Joseph "Joe" Paul Lee and wife Sara of Springer, John Donham and wife Michelle of Davis and Michael Kester of Ardmore; daughter, Courtney Kester of Ardmore; mother, Silvia Donham of Lone Grove; sisters, Jackie Bean and husband Brent, Evelyn Matthews, and Kim Miller and husband Ray; brothers, Jeff Kester, Scooner Donham and wife Kim and Jimmy Donham and wife Marla; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and numerous other family and friends.
