Joe Paul Beaver

Wilson - Funeral Service for Mr. Joe Paul Beaver, 88 of Ardmore are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Shirley officiating. Interment will follow to Bomar Point Cemetery.

Joe was born on December 2, 1928 in Wilson, OK to the late Mr. William Henry Beaver and Mrs. Blanche Mary (Sears) Beaver. He departed from this life on Wednesday, October, 25, 2017 in Ardmore.

Joe graduated from high school at Zaneis in 1947. After graduating, he went to work for RER Well Service dressing tools. Joe married Lyndol L. Adams on June 11, 1950 in Wilson. He later went into the salvage business at the Wilson Y and then went into the service station business and later worked construction at Uniroyal Plant. He later fabricated glass parts at Basic Glass Company. Joe experienced some health problems and decided to lessen his stress. He sold his cattle and built a car wash. He loved rebuilding cars and was a avid Thunder and Sooners fan later becoming a Dallas Cowboy fan. Joe was a member of the Marsden Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son, Michael Paul Beaver on November 27, 1980; wife, Lyndol on June 5, 2006 and a grandson, Brent Marion.

Joe is survived by his daughters, Debbie Anderson and husband David of Ardmore and Aylisa Marion and husband Mark of Ardmore; granddaughters, Angela Redding and husband Jeff of Piedmont, April Busey and husband Justin of Ardmore and April Marion of Ardmore; great grandsons, Corbin Redding and Grayson Redding and great granddaughters, Aubrey Redding and Chloe Mueller.

Pallbearers will be Gary Whitener, Daniel Whitener, Randy Bray, Justin Busey, Jeff Redding, Steve Singleton and Corbin Redding.

A family visitation is scheduled for Friday evening from 5-7 at Alexander Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross Timber Hospice 207 C St. NW, Ardmore, OK 73401.
