Joe Michael Williams

Memorial Services for Mr. Joe Michael Williams, Jr., 35, of Wilson are scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Cheek Baptist Church south of Lone Grove with Rev. Morgan Ashworth officiating. His ashes will be scattered on the Bayou nearby honoring Mikey last wishes.

Mikey was born January 26, 1978 at Ardmore to Joe Michael Williams, Sr. and Denise Marie Nichols. He departed this life Saturday, September 29, 2013 at Dallas, TX.

Mikey was raised in Wilson attending school here. He enjoyed playing football at Wilson school and graduated High School in 1996. Mikey enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was lastly employed at Dragon of Springer. He loved and adored his children and was a member of the Cheek Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death is his Grandfather – Elzie Lee Nichols, Grandmother, Jessie Mae Williams, Niece, Kyra Walls and Nephew Mikey.

Survivors include his children, Balin Bonds, Joe Michael Williams, III, Christopher Williams, and Alyssa June Williams; Mother, Denise of Wilson; Father, Joe Michael, Sr. also of Wilson; Grandmother, Ethel Nichols of Lone Grove; Sisters, Jennifer Williams of McAlister and Lisa Hacker Walls of Lone Grove; Brother, Bobby Williams of Wilson; Numerous aunts, uncles and other family and friends.
