Joe Edward Aldridge

Duncan- Graveside inurnment services for Mr. Joe Edward Aldridge, 77, of Muskogee are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wed. Dec. 22, 2021 at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery at Duncan with Rev. Carl Taylor officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Joe was born July 15, 1944 at Duncan to the late Mr. Hubert Aldridge and Mrs. Lois LaVern Gandy. He departed this life on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 at his residence in Muskogee.

Joe was raised initially at Ratliff City, following the oilfield which landed him in Barstow, CA, where he graduated high school. Afterwards he joined the U.S. Navy serving honorably for 4 years. Joe resided in Oklahoma the majority of his life, working most of his years as a truck driver. He was a dedicated fisherman and loved to hunt. Joe was raised attending the Ratliff City First Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Hubert Aldridge and Lois (Gandy) Butler.

Survivors include his sister, Angela Cortez and husband Jay of Ratliff City; nephews, Toby -Vern Hill and wife Angela Don, Timothy Angelo Hill and Teddy Lee Hill and wife Lindsay; uncle, Dewey Gandy and wife Dicky of Ratliff City; cousins, Dewey David Gandy and Anthony Grey Gandy; numerous other family and friends.
