Wilson – Graveside funeral services for Jodie Diane O’Daniel, 47, of Wilson will be at 2 PM Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Bomar Point Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Monte Dean officiating. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Jodie Diane O’Daniel was born September 14, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri to Mr. Harry Dewayne Burke and Mrs. Lavina Maxine (Morris) Burke. She departed this life on Friday, August 6, 2010 at her residence in Wilson.

Jodie was raised in St. Louis before moving to California where she attended school. She moved to Wilson in 1987 and went to work at the Wilson Nursing Home as a Registered Nurse, a job she loved, until her health forced her to retire. She loved spending time with her children and all of her family.

Survivors include her son, Albert O’Daniel of Wilson, 2 daughters, Jessica O’Daniel of Wilson and Jamie Burke of Okemah, 1 grandson, Robert Burke of Okemah, mother, Maxine Morris and husband Al of Wilson, Father, Harry Burke and wife Pat of Wilson, brothers, Eddie Miles and wife Amber of Ardmore, Mark Morris and wife Mary of Lolo, Montana, Tim Miles and wife Melynda of Spokane, Washington and Albert Morris of Wilson, sisters, Kelly Johnson and husband Shaun of Healdton and Sheila Morris of Torrance, California, Fiancé, Stephen Dean of Wilson. Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
