Loco- Funeral Services for Mrs. Jimmie Lee (Dean) Carroll, 78, of Loco are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Asphaltum Assembly of God Church north of Ringling with Rev. Joshua Gunter. Interment will follow at the Loco Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Jimmie was born January 8, 1935 at Overton, TX to the late Mr. Floyd Dean and Mrs. Quessie Roberta (Franks) Dean. She departed this life Thursday, April 11, 2013 at her home in Loco.

Jimmie was raised in the Oklahoma City and Ada area. She married Mr. Odell Carroll on June 20, 1970 at Gainesville, TX. They made their home in Ringling. She was employed at the Ringling School Cafeteria for 10 years. Odell preceded her in death on July 19, 1990. Jimmie enjoyed fishing and camping with her family and also enjoyed doing any kind of puzzle.

In addition to her husband Odell, also preceding her in death was her Parents; Brother, Jack Dean and a daughter in law, Julia Wheat.

Survivors include two Daughters, Linda Sullivan and husband Tom of Loco and Rhonda Wheat of Lawrence, KS; Two Sons, William C. “Bill” Wheat , Jr. of Lubbock, TX and Steve Carroll and wife Christy of Walters; Sister, Mary Jo Watson of Modesto, CA; 8 Grandchildren, Christina, Becky, Talitha, Donnie, Sky, Cody, Justin and Kelsi; 10 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson. Many other family and friends.

Pallbearers are the Grandsons and Great Grandsons.

Family visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home in Ringling.
