Jewell Vernice Bolles

Fox –Funeral Services for Mrs. Jewell “Judy” Vernice Bolles, 81 of Ratliff City, are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Fox with Rev. Bob Keck and Rev. Carl Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery in Stephens County. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Judy was born July 5, 1929 at Healdton, OK to the late Mr. Vernon Henry Shrader and Mrs. Maudie Mae (Hunt) Shrader. She departed this life Monday, December 20, 2010 at a nursing home facility in Ardmore.

Judy was reared at Healdton attending school there. She and the late Mr. Kenneth Lloyd “Pete” Bolles were united in marriage August 20, 1947 at Ardmore. They resided in Borger, TX until moving back to this area in 1954 and had resided here since.

Judy was a very devout homemaker and a very accomplished seam stress. She was a past member of the extension homemakers of Carter County. Her hobbies included flower gardening, reading and crocheting. She was also an amazing cook and had been a member of the Fox Baptist Church for over 50 years.

Preceding her in death are her Parents, husband Pete Bolles – March 24, 1998, brother, Quincy Don Shrader and 2 infant sisters, Helen and Baby Shrader.

Survivors include her Daughters, Radonna Gregg and husband Joe of Lone Grove, and Darla Mumford and husband Jim of Fox. Sons, Barry Bolles and wife Carol of Muskogee, and Chris Bolles and wife Yevon of Stratford. Brother, Kenneth Ray Shrader of Velma. 11 Grandchildren, Allen Bolles and wife Trina, Barbara Rose and husband Cameron, Christy Morris and husband David, Matt Bolles and Fiancé Crystal, Jodi Chambers and husband Chris, Heather Osantowski and husband Ryan, Chance Butler and wife Johnna, Chad Butler, Cory Gregg, Payton Mumford and Dillon Mumford. 8 Great Grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Grandsons, Allen Bolles, Matt Bolles, Chance Butler, Chad Butler, Payton Mumford, and Dillon Mumford.

Honorary Bearers are Great Grandchildren, Madison Bolles, Logan Morris, Mason Bolles, Landon Rose, Kayden Bolles, Wyatt Morris, Gus Chambers, and Georgia Chambers.

Family visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Wed. evening at the Funeral Home in Ratliff City.
