Jewel Jean Proctor

Wilson - Graveside Services for Jewel Jean Proctor, 83, of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 P. M., Monday, June 29, 2009 at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson, with her son, Warren Wright officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Jewel was born March 25, 1926 in Wirt, Oklahoma to the late Mr. Ivey Andrew and Ms. Daisy Parelee (Casey) Bratton. She departed this life Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Ardmore.

Jewel was raised in Wirt, OK and she married Mr. E. L. Wright in 1946, making their home in Dillard where they raised two sons, Warren and David Wright. She later married Mr. Kelly Joe Proctor of Midland, Texas. They resided in Lovington, NM until 1994, when she moved to Wilson, making her home here. Jewel was always a devoted homemaker, loved to read especially her Bible, and enjoyed watching old movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivey Andrew Bratton & Daisy Parelee (Casey) Bratton, 1 son, David Wright, June 11, 2007, her 1st husband Nov. 13, 2005, and her 2nd husband June of 1992.

She is survived by her son Warren Wright and his wife, Brenda of Wilson; and one granddaughter, Tammy Wright, also of Wilson.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Warren Wright, Eric Gaines, Garren Gray & Stacy Clough, and Eric Skiles.
