Ringling - Funeral Services for Jessie Roger Aden, 66, retired police officer of Ringling and Ryan, are scheduled for 2PM Friday, March 17, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Ringling with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander- Gray Crematory of Ringling.

Jessie Roger Aden was born January 27, 1951 at Datto, Arkansas to the late Mr. Morse Aden and Mrs. Roberta (Decker) Aden. He departed this life Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Ryan.

Jessie was raised in Arkansas attending school there. He began working in the oilfield which took him to the Sherman area where he also worked for Johnson and Johnson. Jessie moved to Ringling in the mid 1980's working as a carpenter for several years before joining the Ringling Police Department. He began this career under the instruction of Chief James Greer. Jessie later became the Police Chief serving from 1991 to 2008. After this time he moved to Ryan where he served as the Police Chief from 2009 to 2014. Jessie enjoyed fishing, doing carpentry work, tinkering with old vehicles, going to the coffee shop, attending dirt track races and to tractor pulls. He loved people and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Preceding him is dead are his parents; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; 1 niece and a grandson, Aaron.

Survivors include daughter, Sheritha Bone and husband Jason of Marietta; sons, Jesse Fleming and wife Alicia of Hilton Head, SC, David Fleming and fiance Mystie Chamberlin of New York City, NY, and Sidney Aden of Ryan; grandson, Devin Renteria of Marietta; granddaughter, Jacie Bone of Marietta; brother, Robert Aden, sisters, Sandra Gilford, Lorena Luna, and Mary Aden all of Arkansas; Special companion, Becky Rudd; adopted sons, Willie Russell and Thad Kassheimer; nieces, Amanda and Lorie; numerous other family and friends.

Family visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8PM at the Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
