Jesse Junior Smith

Wilson – Funeral Services for Mr. Jesse Junior Smith, 28, of Wilson, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Bomar Pt. Cemetery Pavilion in Wilson with Rev. Ray Christian officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Jesse was born December 31, 1983 to Mr. Roy Smith, Jr. and Mrs. Patty Sue (Dyer) Smith. He departed this life on Monday, May 28, 2012 south of Wilson.

Jesse was a native to the Wilson area residing here most of his life. He graduated Wilson High School in 2002 and then began working as a rock mason for many years. Jesse took a lot of pride in his work and always very skilled at whatever he did. Most recently he was employed as a welder at Dragon formerly VE Enterprises, of Springer, where he was commonly known as “Smitty”. Jesse loved his family, especially his Mother and Dad. He also enjoyed music of all kinds and always had an instinctive mindset for constructing things.

Preceding him in death is his Father Roy Smith, Jr. – August of 2007 and a Nephew, Bryce Smith in July of 2009.

Survivors include Mother; Patty Smith and John Pierce of Healdton; Longtime Companion, Kari Walker of the home; Daughter, Hali Smith of the home; Brothers, Charlie Smith and wife Carmen of Wilson and Bryan Smith of Healdton; Nephews, Dakota; Nieces, Brooklyn and Makailee; and his favorite Canine Son, Buddie. Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Bryan Smith, Charlie Smith, Dustin Bulla, Russell Long, Joe Wilkins and Sam Simmons.

Honorary Bearers is Wilson High School Classmates of 2002.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday Evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
