Milo - Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry Ray Miller, 70 of Ardmore are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, August 13, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Donnie Hanner officiating and Jerry Bateman providing the eulogy. Interment will follow at Milo Cemetery.

Jerry was born on Jan. 27, 1951 at Milo to the late Mr. William Columbus Miller and Mrs. Ruby Louise (Blankenship) Miller. He departed this life on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Plano, TX.

Jerry attended school at Graham, residing near Sneed. He worked primarily all of his working years as a truck driver, initially doing route sales for Pepsi and Coca-Cola and lastly as an owner/ operator leasing to Great Wide hauling mostly Wal-Mart freight.

Jerry married the former Vivian Lee Murray on March 16, 1991 and they made their home in the Ardmore area. She preceded him in death on Feb. 19, 1994. Jerry was a member of the "Almost Country Band" for over 30 years, recording several albums. He always loved to keep his yard mowed, enjoyed woodworking and putting together model cars.

In addition to his wife, Vivian, also preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Alta Fay Porterfield; infant son, John Logan Miller; brother, Ronald Miller; daughter in law, KaSandra Miller and a nephew, William "Shorty" Porterfield.

Survivors include his children, Jerrel Miller of Ardmore, Jeri Luan Miller and Toby Lewers of Talco, TX, Jennifer Miller of Ardmore and Jamie Miller and Dustin Brackeen of Wilson; stepdaughters, Tammy Black and husband Brandon, Becky Briley and husband Benjamin and Cindi Rambo and husband Alvin, all of Ardmore; brother, William "Butch" Miller and wife Donna of Tuttle; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers Jeremiyah Miller, Caleb Miller, Jerrel Miller, Dustin Brackeen, Toby Lewers and LaTisha Miller.

Honorary Bearers are Steve Sullivan, Jerry Bateman Butch Miller and Michael Baker.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
