Jerry Keith Phillips

Simon - Graveside Services for Mr. Jerry Keith Phillips, 66, of Ardmore are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wed. Nov. 18, 2015 at Simon Cemetery of Simon with Bro. Brian Baker officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Keith was born September 26, 1949 at Simon to the late Mr. Robert Lee "Bob" Phillips and Mrs. Elnora Marie (Nipp) Phillips. He departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at Mercy Hospital of Ardmore.

Keith was a native to the Simon area. He began working on pipeline jobs at the age of 15 and later became an accredited Boiler Maker. Keith married the former Shirley Copeland and to this union brought 4 children, Jodie, Kevin, Jerry and Sparky.

Keith was a member of the NTL Boiler Makers Union, working in that industry until the mid 90's. He has always been very active in the Masonic Lodge, currently being a member of the Masonic Lodge #25 of Lone Grove. He was a past Master Mason, member of the Mattie Bruce Eastern Star and the Ardmore #70 Order of the Eastern Star as a past Patron.

Preceding him in death were his Parents; daughter, Jodie on April 10, 2015 and his Grandparents.

Survivors include his sons, Kevin Phillips of Criner Hills, Jerry Phillps and wife Jeanette of Tuttle and Richard "Sparky" Phillips of Criner Hills; 6 grandchildren, Sierra, Trey, Tyler, Cassie, Gavin and Autumn; 1 great granddaughter Julie; sister, Elaine Owens and husband Sam of Ardmore; brother, Bobby Phillips and wife Mary Ann of Ardmore; nephews, Robert, Joshua and Casey; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Kevin Phillips, Jerry Phillips, Sparky Phillips, Trey Phillips, Joshua Owens and Casey Owens.

Honorary bearers are all of Keith's Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Family visitation will from 4 to 6 pm Tuesday afternoon at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
