Milo- Jeri Kay Harding, age 72, of Lone Grove, departed this life on Monday, August 26, 2019 in Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 30, 2019 at the Milo Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the Milo Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
Jeri was born on August 10, 1947 in Long Beach, CA to the late Mr. Doug Ray Houston and Mrs. Addie Rae (Webb) Houston.
Jeri was raised in California and lived there until she married Mr. Mark Harding on November 9, 1968 in Las Vegas, NV. Together they made their home in Utah and Wyoming where they would raise their sons Travis and Cody. Later the couple would move to Southern Oklahoma and make their home in Lone Grove.
Jeri had a passion for horses and spent many hours in the show ring or riding trails. At one time she and Mark owned a guest ranch and hunting camp in Wyoming while working the camp she never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. Jeri made many lifelong friends over the years. She was an excellent seamstress, she enjoyed playing Bunko and floating the Colorado River. Jeri was an active member of the Milo Baptist Church.
Jeri is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jed Houston.
She is survived by her husband Mark Harding of the home; sons, Travis Harding of Salt Lake City, UT, and Cody Harding of Heber, UT; daughter in law, Teresa Harding of Pleasant Grove, UT; sister, Nancy Marks of St. George, UT; grandchildren, Tara, Maggie, Dylan, and Allie; niece, Jen Harmon of St. George, UT; Many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Travis Harding, Cody Harding, Dylan Harding, Bud Hobbs, Jeff Kelley, John Harmon, Jaden Johnson, Zack Roe and Ronnie Macroy.
Honorary Pallbearers will be The Men’s Sunday School Class of Milo Baptist Church.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M. on Thursday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
