Wilson - Graveside Services for Mr. Jeffrey Vince Acota, Sr. are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 4, 2022 at McAlister Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Jeffrey was born August 2, 1959 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Floyd Mayo and Mrs. Jeannie L. (Gentry) Acosta. He departed from this life on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his home in Wilson.

Jeffrey dedicated many years working for Wilson Monument Company with his brother, Jessie. He honored different families with his artwork. Jeffrey loved and had passion for creating beautifully engraved monuments that left impressions on them all. He was a kind and gentle man who will truly be missed by many. Jeffrey had a great love for his pet companions as well.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandmother, Lillian Clay and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Acota.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Roxie Acota, sons, Jeremy Acota and wife Michealla and Jeffery Acota; daughter, Amberleigh Clayton; brother, Jessie Angelo Acota; grandchildren, Breanna, Justin, Jaycob, Isabella Clayton and Dameion, Elysa, and Nathanyal Acota; girlfriend, Donna Shelton; and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Acota, Jeffrey Acota, Jr., Justin Clayton, Jaycob Clayton, Bradley Ferguson, and Stacy Tyner. Honorary bearer will be Jessie Acota.
