Jeannie Michelle Lewis

Ringling – Funeral Services for Mrs. Jeannie Michelle (Drake) Lewis, 28, formerly of Ringling is scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Community Fellowship Assembly of God Church of Ringling with Rev. Chad Barron and Rev. John Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Jeannie was born June 26, 1984 at Healdton to Mr. Johnny Wayne Drake, Sr. and Mrs. Denise Gabrielle (Kondracki) Drake. She departed this life Wed. August 29, 2012 at Tulsa.

Jeannie was raised in Ringling attending school here graduating from Ringling High School in 2002 as the class Salutatorian. Despite her lack of vision, Jeannie always excelled at what most would find difficult. She received her associate’s degree from Murray State College and then a Bachelors Degree from East Central State University in Ada in Psychology. She most recently completed her Masters Degree in Counseling and was appointed to the Oklahoma Board of Directors for Rehabilitation and Counseling.

Jeannie was recently married to Mr. David Lewis and they resided in Chelsea, OK where she worked as a Counselor for the State of Oklahoma throughout the surrounding schools and colleges, helping children with visual and diabetic disabilities. She never let her disability interfere with her dreams. It was her motivation. She enjoyed going snow skiing and mountain hiking and had just purchased her own home, one of her lifetime goals. Jeannie was always dedicated to helping others and inspired many children to reach their goals. She was a member of the Community Outreach Assembly of God Church of Ringling.

Preceding her in death is her father, Wayne Drake- June 14, 2008, and Grandparents, Bill and Lorene Pemberton.

Survivors include her husband David Lewis of the home; 3 Children, Emmalee Partaka, Caleb Partaka and Daniel Lewis; 2 Stepsons, David and Derek Lewis; Mother, Denise Drake of Ringling; Brothers, Johnny Drake and wife Terah of Mill Creek, and Sean Collett and wife Monica of Texas; Special Uncle and Aunt, Mickey and Kathy Dewbre of Ringling; Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are family and friends.

Honorary Bearers are her Ringling High School Classmates of Graduating Class 2002.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Ringling.
