Wilson - Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara Jeannette (Bartlett) Stewart,66, of Healdton are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday Sept. 17, 2018 at the Assembly of God Church in Wilson with Bro. John Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Bomar Point Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Jeannette was born August 18, 1952 at Oklahoma City to Mr. Joe Earl Bartlett and Mrs. Betty Sue (Hurley) Bartlett. She departed this life on Thursday Sept. 13, 2018 at a hospital in Oklahoma City.

Jeannette was raised as part of an evangelistic family moving all over. They settled at Reck when she was in her high school years and attended school at Ringling graduating from there in 1970. Afterwards she gained employment at Uniroyal where she worked in tire building and soon met the love of her life, Robert Stewart. On their second date he proposed to her and they were united in marriage on March 4, 1972 at the Wilson Assembly of God Church.

They resided at Ringling for a short while before purchasing land north of Healdton where they have farmed and ranched for many years. Jeannette retired from Uniroyal in 1981 and later worked at Camps Pharmacy in Ratliff City as a Pharmacy Technician. She always worked on the farm and enjoyed being part of a ranching family. Jeannette was a very accomplished violinist and pianist and enjoyed playing when her health allowed. She always loved to travel and spend time on the beach. Jeanette never met a stranger and loved mostly being with her family especially with her grand kids. She was a member of the New Life Assembly Church of Healdton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Brent Lewis Stewart on Sept. 20, 1979 and her husband Robert on Dec. 9, 2016 and a a sister, Annita "Pebbles" Jackson on Sept. 14, 2011.

Survivors include daughters, Amanda Stewart of Healdton and Larissa Naim and husband Danial of Wichita Falls, TX; parents, Joe and Betty Bartlett of Wilson; sister, Donna Snodgrass and husband Jimmy of Ringling; brother, Joe Lynn Bartlett and wife Linda of Tupelo, MS; her very best friend Pam Brady and husband David of Healdton; grandsons, Brent Levi and Weston Luke Naim; sisters in law, Barbara Hudgens, Diana Dickerson and husband Bob , Debbie Rapier and husband Jim and Patricia Stewart; brother in law, Greg Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

Casket bearers are Patrick Stewart, Bobby Dickerson, Chad Dickerson, Kevin Edwards, Chad Klutts and Jimmy Darrel Snodgrass.

Honorary Bearers are her church family of the New Life Assembly of Healdton.

Family visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Sunday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Life Assembly Church of Healdton PO Box 277 Healdton, OK 73438.
