Ringling – A gathering and Celebration of the life for Mrs. Jean Marie Camplain 60, of Ringling are scheduled for 6:00 P.M., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with Rev. Joe Taylor officiating.
Jean was born on May 5, 1956 at Lawton, OK to Mr. Gerald A. Johnson and Mrs. Nova M. (Urich) Childers. She departed from this life on April 9, 2017 in Oklahoma City.
Jean was raised in Artesia, NM until age 15. She moved to Ringling, graduating from Ringling High School in 1974. Jean soon was blessed with 4 sons. She mostly resided in Ringling and Dickson. She was always very involved in her son’s activities, including Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She married Mr. Billy Glenn Camplain in 1996. Jean was a very accomplished artist creating oil paintings, pencil drawings and water colors. She enjoyed to garden. She was a past member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Ringling and had most recently attended the Church on the Rock, of Ringling.
Preceding her in death was her father; stepfather, Cole Camplain and all of her grandparents.
Jean is survived by her husband Bill of the home; sons, Michael Johnson, Jeremy Faulkner, Eric Faulkner and Caelen Camplain all of Ringling; mother, Nova Childers and husband David of Caddo; brothers, Craig Johnson and wife Cindy of Big Piney, WY and Steven Camplain and wife Cynthia of Ringling; sisters Rayleen Camplain of Grady and Lorie Patton of Caddo; aunts, Patty Phillips of Mesa, AZ and Sharon McIntosh of Oklahoma City; and grandchildren, Corbin Johnson, Logan Faulkner and Sydney Faulkner. Numerous other family and friends.
