Lone Grove – Funeral Services for Mrs. Juanita Katherine ( Milliken) Conway, 86, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Lone Grove First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Black and Rev. Morgan Ashworth officiating. Interment will follow at the Lone Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Juanita was born March 21, 1928 at Enville, OK to the late Mr. Robert Guy Milliken and Mrs. Celie Bell (Colvin) Milliken. She departed this life Thursday, February 12, 2015 at a nursing home facility in Ardmore.

Juanita was raised in the Cheek Community graduating from Lone Grove High School in 1948. She then attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University of Durant where she majored in Education. She and Mr. Dalton L. Conway were united in marriage on February 21, 1953 at Gainesville, TX. To this union they were blessed with four boys, Larry, Charles, Marvin and Will.

Juanita was employed outside the home at Stromberg-Carlson and Jerry’s Pecan House before becoming employed at the Carter County Court House. There she worked as the custodian for 27 years. She was a devoted member of the Lone Grove First Baptist Church and a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Rena Bright, Eula Mae Walston, Irene Polly Walker and Betty Evelyn Walker; brothers, Horace Milliken and Villard Millikan; and a cousin who was like a sister, Leona Hyman.

Survivors include her beloved four sons, Larry Conway and wife Becky, Charles Conway, Marvin Conway and wife Joni and Will Conway and wife Tracy, all of Lone Grove; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; brother – in law, Alvie Walker of Wilson; special niece, Betty Jane DeFoor of Wilson; numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbors.

Casket Bearers will be Jason Conway, Bryan Conway, Reece Conway, Abraham Conway, Derek Davidson, David Gilliam, Charlie Prickett, John Blackwood and Guy Lockridge.

Family visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm Sunday, February 15, 2015at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
