Jared Wayne Lakey

Healdton - Funeral Services for Mr. Jared Wayne Lakey, 28, are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Healdton, 65 Golf Course Rd, with Rev. Glynn Baker officiating. Interment will follow at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery.

Jared was born Dec. 12, 1990 at Duncan to Douglas Ray Lakey and Cynthia Gail (Clayton) Lakey. He departed this life on Saturday morning July 6, 2019 at Oklahoma City.

Jared was raised in this area attending school at Lone Grove and Wilson. During his school years, Jared enjoyed playing football and weightlifting. He always loved playing music, making people laugh and wanted everyone to always be happy. Jared loved playing video games online with his friends and nephews.

Jared worked for Dillon Environmental at the Boom Shop in Ringling for a few years and currently was employed for Cimarron Trailers of Chickasha for the past 9 months. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Martha Lakey and Patricia Carroll; and a cousin who was like a brother, Erick Lakey.

Survivors include his parents, Doug and Cindy Lakey; brothers, Justin Lakey and wife Kurston and Josh Lakey and Shasta Budvarson; grandparents, Richard and Louise Lakey, Roy and Leona Clayton and David Carroll; Uncles and Aunts, Rick and Chris Lakey, James Lakey, Tiffany Lakey, Jennifer "Sissy" Wilkinson and Kenny Wilkinson, Jeff and Levia Clayton, Shelly Schoonover, Steve and Tiffany Clayton; nephews and nieces, Blazin Brogan, Dagger, Phoenix Lakey, Keagan Payne and one other on the way, Emma Leeann Lakey; numerous cousins and a multitude of friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Lakey, Josh Lakey, James Lakey, Jeff Clayton, Kody Helms and Josh Kinard.

Honorary Bearers will be Rick Lakey, Devon Johnson, Blazin Lakey, Brogan Lakey, Dagger Lakey. Keagan Payne and Steve Clayton.

Family visitation will be held Friday evening 6 to 8 pm at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton
